Tulameen (Otter Lake) is located 3 ½ hours Northeast of Vancouver B.C. Canada. This historic gold, platinum, and coal mining town is rapidly becoming one of BC's more desirable recreational areas. Otter Lake is bordered by the Cascade Mountain Range, and runs along the world famous Trans Canada Trail (Kettle Valley Railway). Nearby, the town of Princeton, serves as the gateway to the British Columbia Interior, and the Okanagan/Similkameen valley.

This spectacular lakefront home presides over an expanse of over 200 feet of gentle sloping, sandy, sun drenched beach. Front of the home overlooks the lake with a large wrap around deck and floor to ceiling windows. Living and dining rooms feature hardwood cherry floors, floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace, and new leather furniture.
The lodge is outfitted with a gourmet kitchen, master bedroom with queen size bed and private ensuite, two other bedrooms, separate laundry room, and a loft that is convertible to 4th bedroom with fold out queen size bed, private bath, large shower, satellite TV, VCR, DVD and Stereo System. Luxurious bath features all glass shower, twin sinks, Bain-ultra therapeutic soaker tub with 60 air jets and heated backrest.

Local Amenities
Otter Lake: This very popular, prestine lake covers about 290 hectares(716 acres) at an elevation of 823 m (2700 ft.) It is a great recreational lake for swimming, water-skiing and fishing for laketrout, rainbow, brook trout and kokanee. The town of Tulameen is located at the east end of the lake and the Provincial campsite located on the west side. A scenic 2 hour bike ride will take you around the lake, along the Trans Canada Trail, and stopping for ice-cream in Tulameen.
Princeton: Has a population of approximately 2,800 in the town and about 5,000 in the area. The town has 17 restaurants, six gas stations, a supermarket, several convenience stores, pharmacy, museum, library, hospital and medical clinic. There are many recreational services such as a nine-hole golf course, horse race track, rodeo grounds, swimming pool, bowling alley, curling rink and arena, the Snowpatch Ski Resort, China Ridge Cross Country Ski Trails and excellent camping facilities. The Similkameen and Tulameen rivers, along with more than 40 lakes, offer outstanding trout fishing. Locals say you can fish "a lake a day as long as you stay".

Tulameen: Sits between the eastern bank of the Tulameen River and the Southern end of Otter Lake. There are about 250 residents here but this number grows in the summer months. The Tulameen General Store has gas pumps and food. There is also a restaurant, post office, liquor store, video rentals, bike rentals (Crossroads Bike Rentals), community centre, outdoor skating rink, library, volunteer fire department, and skidoo dealer & repair centre.

Easy to Find
Located on Otter Lake in Tulameen, British Columbia, the lodge is just 25 km northwest of Princeton. From Vancouver you can get to Princeton via the Hope/ Princeton or Coquihalla Highways and then just follow the signs to Tulameen.

Directions From Princeton:
Drive down Princeton's main street (Bridge Street). Ignore the sign to turn right to Tulameen. This will take you on a longer route. Instead just stay on the main street through town and cross the river on the old wooden one-way bridge. Turn sharp left, follow the signs to Tulameen. At Tulameen stay on the main road going north through town. When you reach the lake turn right on 6 th Street. When the paved road ends continue onto the small dirt driveway, proceed through the gate, and you'll see a large house with a red roof.
